Kiteboarding Australia Scheme
The Kiteboarding Australia scheme consists of two levels that can take you from learning the very basics of kiteboarding through to independently kiteboarding in a safe, holistic and well structured way. Simply there two levels are an introduction to flying a kite and the introduction to the board. To learn to kiteboard safely it essential that you take professional lessons to cover off these areas. Level 1 – Introduction to Kite Flying
Part 1 – Basic kite rigging and flying
Part 2 – Relaunching, basic bodydragging
Part 3 – Bodydragging down, across and upwind
Part 4 – Self rescue techniques, sailing the kite, DWPD, board retrieval
Level 2 – Introduction to the board
Part 1 – Introduction to the board and board start technique
Part 2 – First board starts
Part 3 – First board rides and prolonged power delivery
Part 4 – Independent Kiteboarder – kiteboarding safely around others
