Upcoming Instructor and Coaching Courses with Andy Gratwick from the British Kitesports Assocation!

Kiteboarding Australia's training and education program is excited to be launching a series of new courses this month. We are very pleased to once again be joining forces with the British Kitesports Association (BKSA) to introduce our next phase of the program. Andy Gratwick will be flying in from the UK in just over a week to deliver multiple Senior Instructor, Coaching and Re-Validation Courses.

Due to demand, we are pleased to announce that we are adding an additional coaching course in Perth on the 23rd of March. 
 

Senior Instructor Course
The Senior Instructor Course will cover off various topics for experienced instructors. These include requirements to run a school, the role of a senior instructor, safety and risk management, dealing with insurance & understanding the Kiteboarding Australia scheme in greater depth. 

Coaching
The role of the coach is to enhance the skills of already competent individual kiteboarders who want to improve in a specific area. The course will cover off the role of the coach, coaching theory, disciplines, levels of competency and limitations and responsibilities of a coach. With the sport progressing into the 2024 Olympics and solid pathways through multiple disciplines of the sport in Australia, the coaching course is a great addition to our program

Re-Validation
The Re-Validation course is for instructors who have previously completed an instructors course, however is expired or expiring soon. It will brush up participants knowledge of the association, the profession & keep them on the water instructing.
