CELEBRATE THE START OF THE 2021/22 SEASON

The Season Launch Kite & Wing Expo is only a few weeks away & everything is looking set to launch into the season!

We are stoked to be partnering with the kiteboarding industry to bring all the later gear, tips & tricks to a beach near you. 

There is no cost, everyone is welcome and everyone will have the chance to participate in a range of amazing giveaways and activities thanks to our partner brands, retailers and schools.

New kiteboarders are encouraged to visit your nearest expo; this is a great opportunity to meet the right people to get you involved in the awesome and exciting sports of kiteboarding and wingfoiling.

To celebrate the start of the new season we are going to give away a BRAND NEW NORTH KITE OR WING to one lucky member who joins or renews their membership between today and the 31st of October, 2021. Not only will you go in the draw to win a prize of your choice, but you will also be able to join / renew before the increased membership fee sets in.

Remember, even if your membership has not expired you will still gain an extra year on your membership.

PROGRESS YOUR RIDING

For the first time, progression clinics will take place for riders looking to take the next step in their progression. If you are looking to make your first back roll, get gliding on the foil, learn how to make a nice bottom turn or take flight with a wing. These progression clinics are for you. 

The clinics are targeted at intermediate riders who already are comfortable riding upwind, making transition and independently kiteboarding. This is an opportunity to take your riding to the next level!

Each clinic is $40 and open to current members of Kiteboarding Australia

Clinics will take place between 12 & 5pm on Sunday the 12th of September. Sessions will be based from The Spit, Gold Coast. 
 
Each clinic will be led by a specialist in the chosen discipline and the goal of the session will be to help you improve your own skills.

In order to maintain a safe event, we ask that participants follow the below guidelines to ensure the safety of the community. 

1. All attendees must pre-register online

2. All attendees must sign in on the day of the expo

3. Attendees must practice social distancing at all times throughout the event

4. Any members of the public who have covid-19 symptons must not attend the event in any circumstance and get tested straight away
