For this year's Wave Championship, Kiteboarding Australia is thrilled to partner with the local legends at Merimbula Sailboard Club, NSW, who have been hosting Australia's biggest kiteboarding event for decades, the Raging Bull Merimbula Classic. We are also excited to partner with Slingshot and Ride Engine as the naming rights sponsors for the Nationals and can't wait to welcome you to Merimbula from 21st to 24th November 2024. Get ready for an epic celebration of wind and waves, with a jam-packed schedule of competitions, social events, and some fantastic raffles and prizes up for grabs, including a trip to Tonga!

Kitesurf Tonga is giving away a major dream kiteboarding getaway. 

Full Members who register and participate in any category at the Wave Nationals in Merimbula, including kiteboarding and winging expression sessions, will go into the draw to win a 7-night all-inclusive stay* on Uoleva island, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful islands in the Tongan group. All meals, beachfront ensuite accommodation and unlimited kiteboarding.

With competition getting serious this year and Merimbula taking centre stage for the best wave riding action in the country, our partners at Merimbula Sailboard Club (MSC) are sure to put on a good party and help our kiters and wingers blow off the steam.

With an action-packed schedule, you can join the Slingshot Wave Nationals for a fun kiteboarding/wing foiling expression session or simply join the social festivities.

MSC will be hosting the social side of things, tickets need to be purchased separately with MSC at the event.

With fun social events and prizes up for grabs throughout the Nationals, there will be a chance for everyone to get involved, regardless of the level of riding. If you want to participate, but not compete in the Nationals, buy a social ticket.

*Kitesurf Tonga Terms and Conditions

The voucher is for 1 person only and includes 7 nights of accommodation, all meals and local transfers from Haapai Airport. If you wish to bring another person, they must pay extra for meals and transfers. The voucher does not include any flights or any other transfers. It is not to be used with any other offer or sale. The voucher is only valid for April, May, June, October or November. If you wish to come in July, August or September, you will need to pay a top-up.
