Largs Bay Sailing Club will play host to the 2021 South Australia Kitefoiling Championships as part of the National Kite Foil Series. The event will take place on the 6th and 7th of November, 2021.

National Kite Foil Series Points

The South Australian Championships are a 100 point contributing event to the National Kite Foil Series. 

The National Kite Series consists of 6 events across Australia including 5 State Championships and the National Championships. The National Championships is a 200 point event. 

Eligibility

The event is open to all competitors

Format

The event format will be primarily be fleet racing. The event is Kite Foil, therefore any equipment may be used for the event. 

New to racing or on freeride equipment?

The event will consist of a Formula X division which encourages participation from new comers and kiters on freeride equipment. Participants will compete on a modifed course to those on dedicated race equipment. 

Organising Authority

The Organising Authority is Largs Bay Sailing Club with support of Adelaide Kite Racing Club.

Pre event Training Clinic 

There will be a pre-event training clinic for two days organised by Australian Sailing.
