The Queensland Kite Foil State Championship are to be held in conjuntion with the action sports festival 'Rumble On The Reef'.
Time:
Friday: 5pm - 7pm (race registration at Seabreeze Hotel)
Saturday: 9am - 5pm (Incl. Opening Ceremonies)
Sunday: 9am - 5pm
Monday: 9am - 5pm (Incl. Closing Ceremonies)
Location: Lamberts Beach, Mackay QLD
Across the October long weekend (2-5/10/2020), Mackay will welcome a fleet of Queensland's fastest kite-hydrofoil racers set to battle it out for the title of king and queen of the sunny state. With speeds on the water up to 70 km/h, kiters will foil around the bay, hovering above the water as they fight with challenging conditions of the ocean. On the shoreline, sponsor tents, equipment demos, and chill-out areas will provide some entertainment between the thrill of the race over Saturday & Sunday! So grab your kids, bring your friends and join us for an amazing long weekend out on the beach!!
