KWA Female Development Series – Twin Tip Progression Clinic with WA SURF (click here)
- When: Saturday, 8 December 2024, 4:00 pm to 6:00pm
- Where: Meet at WA SURF, Corner of Safety Bay Road, Safety Bay.
- Price: for Full KA/KWA Members $90 ($93.40 inc. fees). See options for non KA/KWA members below.

Note: that the clinic may be cancelled or postponed if we do not get enough wind. Potential backup dates will be communicated at that time.
What to expect
Spend an afternoon with like-minded women, working on your goals and improving your riding!
You can expect a small friendly group with coaching from an experienced WA SURF coach. We will cover goal setting, on the water coaching and de-brief. The content will be tailored to your goals and the session will be a great way to experience progression and get some tips from the expert. Focus areas can include first pops and jumps, grabs, spins, or kite loops - it is up to you!
The clinic will be held on 8 December from approx. 4:00pm to 6:00pm with riders meeting at WA SURF in Safety Bay. Please keep the day flexible to allow for time adjustments due to wind conditions etc.
Participation requirements
- The clinic is for ladies of all ages.
- Riders need to be intermediate riders, comfortably going upwind.
- You must bring your own gear to the session (i.e. kite, bar, board, harness, pump, wetsuit).
- To participate you also need to be a Kiteboarding Australia/KWA Member (see more information below).
- Event registration is essential - click on the 'Register' button.
- Please include a valid phone number in your registration profile.
- Communications with your coach ahead of the session will likely be via SMS or WhatsApp, please have the app installed!
KA Membership
To participate you need to be signed up as KA member. If you are not a member yet, you can choose one of the following options:
- Full membership - $190 for new Members ($165 for renewal) - If you plan to attend two or more events this season and want to support our sport, sign up here for a full annual membership for Kiteboarding Australia. This lets you participate in all Kiteboarding Australia events, competitions and clinics and will give you access to insurance, including recreational public liability and personal accident insurance.
- Price for non-KA/KWA Members: $165 ($169.90 inc. fees).Consider becoming a full member if you plan to attend two or more KA events this season and want to support our sport. If you do not want to become a member, select the non-member registration option. The cost for this option is higher as it covers the cost for a single event membership.
