Join the 2024 NSW Wing Wave Titles at Fishermans Beach

GREEN LIGHT FOR SATURDAY, 20 APRIL

The Wing Wave Titles as part of the Aussie Wave Series are set to kick off at the Fishermans Beach, Collaroy in New South Wales between 6-28^th April 2024 (wind window). We have now announced the GREEN LIGHT for the 20 April with a promising southerly in the forecast. We are planning to set up at Fishermans beach with registrations starting at 8:30am and first possible heat at 9am at Makaha point.

We are excited to invite riders from across New South Wales & further afield to get your foil out and take part in the NSW wing wave event.
It will be an action packed day, with the great wing foiling on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

Eligibility

• The Kiteboarding New South Wales events are open to Kiteboarding Australia current financial members. You must also be an Australian resident or hold a current long term Australian visa for three or more consecutive years.

Judging Format

The top single wave score is 10, for a possible 20 point heat total.

Judges analyse the following elements when scoring:

1) Commitment and degree of difficulty, innovative and progressive manoeuvres.

2) Major, variety of manoeuvres and speed, power and flow.

3) Combination of manoeuvres including connections, linking, flow and STYLE.
