The Freestyle Nationals are set to kick off at Cotton Tree on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland from the 29th of January to the 1st of February 2022. It will be the second consecutive year the Freestyle Nationals have taken place at Cotton Tree and we are excited to invite riders from across Australia to a great freestyle location on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
It will be a 4-day action packed weekend, with the best freestyle kiteboarding in the country taking place in an epic flat water location.
The event boasts a huge prize pool, with live commentary and tunes cranking all weekend, photographers and videographer will be on site to capture all the action and with a host of fun events such as expressions sessions and evening dinners there really is something for everyone!
Come & Try
On the Saturday and Sunday there will be free Come and Try kiteboarding lessons. Bookings are essential.

Eligibility
- The Kiteboarding Australia Freestyle Nationals are open to Kiteboarding Australia current financial members. You must also be an Australian resident or hold a current long term Australian visa for three or more consecutive years.
